Payments

Payment for flight tickets should be made upfront full at the time of booking tickets. We accept all types of online payments like UPI, credit and debit cards, and online banking. We charge a non-refundable convenience fee for passengers that vary according to the type of trip-one way or round trip and the sectors of airlines.

For hotel bookings, we collect an advance of 10% to hold on to the booking, while the balance payment must be cleared before the departure or the commencement of services, whichever is earlier. However, customers might have to make full payment in advance during the peak seasons by X-Mas and New Year.

Customers booking travel packages, including flight tickets and hotel booking must make 90% payment at least 10 days ahead of the departure and clear the remaining 10% before boarding the flight.

Cancellation policy

In the event of cancellation of the tour/ travel services by customers, it is mandatory to notify us the same in writing, stating the reason for cancellation. Cancellation charges as listed below will be levied from the date of receipt of the written intimation about the cancellation. Written cancellations can be emailed to us and accepted from Mondays to Sundays.

The cancellation charges would be as under:

10% of the tour/ travel services if cancellation is done 45 days before arrival.

25% of the tour/ travel services if cancellation is done 15 days before arrival.

50% of the tour/ travel services if cancellation is done 7 days before arrival.

No refund is allowed for no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours before arrival.

Trip cancellation after commencement

If you cancel an ongoing trip, we shall refund a limited amount depending on the amount that we can recover from the hotels and resorts, and there is no guarantee that a refund will be possible. However, we will try our best to arrange for whatever little refund possible for our customers.

Cancellation of Wildlife safaris

Wildlife safari bookings are non-refundable, and a request for a change of date would amount to cancellation.

Our liabilities and limitations

Post booking of tour and travel packages, if there is any increase in the entry fees to monuments, museums, and historical places, customers have to pay an extra amount.

Waivevacation.com acts as an agent of the airlines and hotels on their behalf. All tickets and contracts issued by us are governed by the terms and conditions imposed by the airlines and hotels.

Despite our best endeavors to adhere to the itineraries, sometimes itinerary changes might be inevitable for various reasons beyond our control. In certain circumstances, such changes may be necessary to ensure the safety of the travelers for which we reserve the right to change any travel schedule for the general well-being of our customers.

We do not arrange for any insurance coverage, and customers must make arrangements to obtain travel insurance.

We shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage to property or person while the person is traveling or putting up at hotels.
